Wes Whisler

Wes Whisler graduated from Noblesville HS in 2001 and was named Indiana's Mr. Baseball and drafted by the Chicago Cubs. After being one of the most recruited high school players in the country, Wes accepted a baseball scholarship to UCLA. As a freshman he led the PAC 10 in home runs, was named All-PAC 10 and a Freshman All-American. Wes then accepted and invitation to play in the prestigious Cape Cod College Summer League where he made the league all star team and was name Top Prospect in the league by MLB General Managers. Wes continued his careeer as a first baseman and pitcher at UCLA until he was secected in the second round of the 2004 MLB Draft by the Chicago White Sox. He just finished his season in AAA for the Charlotte Knights.

Wes is a very personable and knowledgable young man with extraordinary baseball experience. He was a student of Triple Crown and Rob Barber since the age of nine and is very familiar with his approach and consistent with his mechanics. Wes is available for pitching, hitting, fielding and group instruction.
